"Parker Smith and his staff at State Farm are amazing! Especially Nancy! I have two teenage drivers who have encountered a couple of fender-benders. Nancy and Parker have always been helpful and walked me through things, even above and beyond expected! I’m sure there are less expensive options out there, but it’s worth the money to have someone in your corner when you need them. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!"

"I have had a horrendous experience with Parker Smith insurance. I did business with them for about 18 months, and on three separate occasions I received a bill via email that was much larger than what I had been told my bill was. The most recent time was the last straw. I was supposed to pay roughly $190/month and received a bill for ~$450 dollars. I called the office and was told that they didn’t know why and would have to figure it out. After three days of back and forth phone calls and missing work, I found out that my actual bill was $270 because State Farm had messed up my billing. I don’t make a ton of money and was happy to do business with Park Smith because they had a decent price. Instead, I waste time off the clock doing this agency’s job because they didn’t bill correctly. At no point during my conversations did Parker Smith Insurance take responsibility for the incorrect billing. I was told that it was underwriting’s fault, billing’s fault, and that ‘things happen’. I hope no one else has had this experience, but I thought I should leave this review to warn other potential customers. Don’t do business with Parker Smith insurance. It’s not worth it."

"Mr. Rickles, We appreciate you taking the time to leave our office a review, however, I want to respond to some of the comments you made. First, I would like to clarify that all billing is handled by our billing team, not our individual agency. Likewise, any changes that we submit to be made to your policies must be approved and processed by our underwriting team, not our individual agency. Nancy, my service team manager, submitted the requested changes to your vehicles. After that happened, there was a policy change with our underwriting team which in turn, threw off your billing account significantly. That is when the issue began, and you called our office to ask what was going on. Nancy then spent the next three days you referred to on and off the phone and on hold with you, our billing team, and our underwriting team trying to get everything sorted out and corrected. She spent around 75% of her time over those three days only working on your particular issue in an effort to resolve it and make sure you were happy and taken care of. In doing so, she put you in front of all of our other customers who were calling, emailing, and texting with things they needed done as well. It is my understanding that billing and underwriting got together and credited your account. There is an increase in this month’s bill due to a period of time that you had coverage, but were not billed, but after this bill, your bill will return to the normal amount moving forward. Nancy takes pride in caring for all our customers. She always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone has what they need and to correct any errors, whether that be errors made by our office, or errors that are out of our office’s control, such as your scenario. While we understand your frustration, we think that it is being directed in the wrong place. And to any potential customers reading this response, I hope you know how hard my staff and I will work for you to make sure that your specific needs are taken care of. "

"I moved all of my casualty insurance--vehicles, commercial rental property, loft, and lake house to Parker Smith's agency over a year ago. I could not be more pleased. After his review of my then existing coverage, he not only filled some unintended gaps/blind spots but did so while reducing my premiums. Example: for the first time in 35 years, I had a rock hit and crack my windshield. Under my previous coverage I would have been responsible for my $1,000 deductible, but Parker wrote my coverage with a $0 deductible for glass at only a few dollars more while still reducing my overall premium. The replacement cost me nothing out of pocket. The claim service was online, timely, and simple, and as usual his office was spot on with response and service. I highly recommend him and his crew."
